Apart from the core laboratory works involved in innovations, there are many strategic aspects which seriously impact success of an innovation. The strategic decisions often involve dealing with several external factors as well, like funding agencies, regulatory bodies, incubation sectors, market forces, and so on. Of late it has been realised that Irrespective of the technical success of an innovation, these learning experiences have their independent value. But unfortunately, these valuable learnings are not documented and don’t get transmitted to other innovators , innovation ecosystem builders, and the policy makers. Additionally, there are multiple factors in the innovation ecosystem, which need some amount of consensus and some multilateral approach. There is a need for raising public discourse in these matters. Keeping above in mind, the Council of Innovation Management initiates a community discourse, on its online platform.
